System Engineer (m/f/d) - Internal IT

Location: Hamburg, Germany

As a System Engineer for Internal IT of Telio, you are highly talented and extremely passionate about helping your co-workers, maintaining the internal IT infrastructure, and keeping it running. You are responsible for both the installation and continuous improvement of our central and cloud infrastructure, such as server, applications, and appliances, as well as infrastructure at our office locations. Together with deeply skilled co-workers regarding the underlying infrastructure and adjoining areas, you will take care of our internal systems like communication, collaboration, user management and device management. You will listen to and care for our employees needs to make the right decisions regarding the internal IT infrastructure. While being a strong communicator, you also improve and evolve our systems together with your teammates and technical experts.


Your responsibilities

  • Act as 2nd and 3rd level expert for on-site office IT and cloud IT
  • Deploy, maintain, and improve our office IT (laptop, desktop, mobile devices) as well as Azure cloud systems using state-of-the-art technologies such as automation and provisioning
  • Take responsibility for inventory database
  • Manage mailboxes, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IP Address Management, User & Account Management
  • Support standard software on end user devices
  • Install and maintain on-site infrastructure
  • Create manuals and guidelines
  • Continuously train our Service Desk team

You are well experienced in IT infrastructure in general and regarding office-related on-premises systems as well as cloud systems. You are highly communicative and even during busy times you know how to maintain an overview and set priorities. As a Systems Engineer for Internal IT, you are ready to face the problems your co-workers have. Also, you have an open and enterprising attitude, and you care for other person’s needs. You have a very good analytical thinking ability, and you take initiative to optimize our infrastructure and processes.

To qualify for this position, you have at least:

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science, otherwise practical education of more than 5 years
  • Microsoft certification like MCSA for Windows Server, Certified Azure Fundamentals, 365 Certified Fundamentals or comparable
  • Good experience as a systems engineer with Microsoft Server products
  • Very good experience with Active Directory, Group Policies, Account Management as well as automated provisioning of devices
  • Experience with DATEV Server and Lucanet Server is a plus
  • Fluent in German and English is a must (written and spoken) – any additional language considered as a plus
  • Fast comprehension and high communication skills
  • Careful, structured working method
  • High motivation and enjoyment of teamwork
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of Confluence/Jira is a plus
  • A valid driving license
