Telio Group Supports the Future of Corrections: Sponsoring Key Conferences in Bangkok, Thailand

Telio Group is proud to sponsor two key events shaping the future of corrections: the Women in Corrections Conference (WICC) (February 19–21, 2025) and the Corrections Technology Conference (CTC) (February 24–27, 2025), both held in Bangkok.
The Women in Corrections Conference, organized by the International Corrections and Prisons Association (ICPA) and the Thailand Institute of Justice (TIJ), marks the 15th anniversary of the Bangkok Rules, established to address the specific needs of incarcerated women. This conference serves as a vital platform for international dialogue on gender-responsive approaches in corrections.
“Women in corrections face unique challenges, and we recognize that family connections play a crucial role in their emotional well-being and rehabilitation,” says Oliver Drews, CEO of Telio Group.
This commitment is also reflected in Telio Group’s support of the Connecting Hearts Foundation, which advocates for children of incarcerated parents. Together, we strive to ease the impact of incarceration on families—an initiative that closely aligns with the principles of the Bangkok Rules.
Following WICC, the Corrections Technology Conference (CTC) will focus on “The Smart Prison: Unraveling the Meaning of SMART in Corrections and Probation Services.” Organized by ICPA, CTC 2025 will unite global experts, technology leaders, and correctional professionals to explore innovative digital solutions shaping the future of corrections.
This conference will:
– Facilitate collaboration between the public and private sectors, NGOs, and academic institutions to address challenges in prisons and probation through digital innovation.
– Provide networking opportunities for correctional professionals, technology experts, and stakeholders shaping the digital landscape of corrections.
– Encourage brainstorming sessions on key technological advancements improving security and rehabilitation.
– Promote the implementation of advanced digital solutions in secure correctional environments.
“Our goal is to integrate technological advancements consistently into the daily operations of correctional institutions. This can only be achieved through close collaboration between the public and private sectors,” states Oliver Drews.
Through our sponsorship and active engagement in these conferences, Telio Group remains committed to enhancing communication, security, and rehabilitation solutions in correctional facilities worldwide.
