Telio Continues Its Commitment to ICPA as Major Sponsor of PDTC 2026
From 21 to 24 April 2026, the Prison Design and Technology Conference (PDTC 2026) will take place in Rabat. The conference is jointly organized by the International Corrections and Prisons Association (ICPA) and the Directorate General for Prison Administration and Reintegration (DGAPR).
As the first edition of the Prison Design and Technology Conference, PDTC 2026 introduces a dedicated international platform focused specifically on prison infrastructure, design, and technology. Under the theme “Humane and Resilient Futures: Rethinking Prisons through Innovation, Infrastructure, and Technology,” the conference addresses how correctional systems can modernize facilities and operations while maintaining security, sustainability, and respect for human dignity.
The program highlights key topics such as:
– Modern prison design and infrastructure development
– Digital innovation in correctional environments
– Sustainable and climate-responsive facilities
– Rights-based and humane approaches in daily operations
– The specific challenges and opportunities facing correctional systems in Africa
PDTC aims to bring together correctional leaders, policymakers, architects, engineers, and technology providers to exchange practical experience and discuss solutions that work under real operational conditions.
Telio will participate as a major sponsor, continuing its long-standing commitment to ICPA and international professional exchange in the corrections sector. With a strong and established presence in Morocco, Rabat represents an important setting for dialogue and collaboration.
As part of the program, the Telio team will host the workshop “Digital Dignity on a Dime,” focusing on how affordable digital solutions can be introduced step by step to strengthen communication, rehabilitation, and operational efficiency.
Oliver Drews, CEO of Telio, comments: “Progress in corrections comes from practical solutions that perform reliably in daily
operations. PDTC 2026 provides an important platform to discuss how innovation and infrastructure can deliver measurable impact.”
Telio looks forward to contributing to the discussions in Rabat and engaging with correctional leaders and partners from across the international community.
